Welcome to another edition of our Weekly Rewind – where we summarize all our posts from the last week. The top stories this week were 3) “Darpa’s Autonomous Cyber Defense Systems”, 2) “ShmooCon 2014 & Firetalk Videos Posted on You Tube”, and 1) “Home Internet Security – Part 2: Unwrapping the Onion”. If you missed anything or happened to be offline, we hope you find this summary post useful as a quick reference.

ShmooCon 2014 & Firetalk Videos Posted to YouTube: Yes, they have been available on Archive.org for a while now but if you want the convenience of subscribing to and viewing them on YouTube, HackersOnBoard just posted them all to their account. They don’t have a playlist yet however Christiaan008, who posted the videos last month, does. Now to just find the time to watch them all… Have any other favorite ShmooCon videos? Let us know in the comments below. (continued here)
Home Internet Security – Part 2: Unwrapping the Onion: Here’s part 2 of @webbreacher‘s post on setting up a home Internet security monitoring system. In this article he discusses setting up SecurityOnion and getting it on your network. You can find the original version that webbreacher is maintaining here. (continued here)
Hope everyone had a wonderful week! Have a great weekend!
