Now you’ll always know with our “Where You Want to Be This Week” feature, which will tell you about infosec meetups happening in your local area as of Sunday night. Another great week of a couple of meetups to look forward to. Start off on Monday with Nova Hackers Association Meetup. Then finish socializing things out with ISSA NoVA Meetup on Thursday.

  • Washington DC Information Security Forum – 2-day forum  on the industry’s most important issues, technologies, and trends at the Washington, DC Convention Center (more info)
  • NovaInfosec Meetup West – an event in honor of the CitySec movement at Velocity Five in Leesburg, VA (more info)

Thursday (4/17)

  • ISSA NoVA Meetup – “Enabling Enterprise Resilience through Security Automation, Software Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management” by Joe Jarzombek at MITRE-1 Building in McLean, VA (more info)
