DHS Cyber Internships Announced: Thought some of you may be … or at least know some college students to pass this information on along to. Positions are available practically all over the country. They are unpaid though so beyond getting experience to add to their resumes, I’m guessing maybe students can claim credits or something. Candidates need to act fast though. Despite just being announced on the 19th, the deadline for submission is January 3rd. (continued here)
6 Infosec New Year’s Resolutions: One of our contributors Michele “MrsY” Chubirka recently published a great article on Network Computing with a nice list of infosec New Year’s resolutions. ShmooCon FireTalks 2014 Speakers Annoucement: Just a short post to announce the speakers for this year’s ShmooCon Firetalks… With several more submissions at the last-minute, the selection committee has continued to pull together a diverse program with the most interesting talks combined with a good mix of established and new speakers.
