NIST Publishes Cybersecurity Framework RFI Comments

NIST is just in the starting phases to responding to Executive Order 13636 to develop a framework that reduces risks for critical infrastructure. They held the first of four industry workshops nine days ago, released the video from that session, and are in the process of consolidating all the feedback they received from the RFI that was due on April 8th.

And boy … what a response they received. If you are interested in finding out how many and seeing what everyone had to say, just take a gander at the page NIST is hosting with all the submission comments from everyone. All the big names … and small names are there… Given the number of submissions I don’t envy the person that has to go through all these responses and somehow align them into one common view.

RFI – Framework for Reducing Cyber Risks to Critical Infrastructure

Did you respond to the RFI? Let us know in the comments below. And thanks to Jack “@sintixerr“ Whitsitt for tweeting this link out last week. See ya!
