Here’s a fun find for a Saturday morning… Apparently the ITU DPI document is available for download from the folks over at AnonPaste. Earlier this week we discussed reports that the super-secret ITU DPI document was leaked to news outlets however up to that point no one had published the document.
According to the The Register, the document appeared to be a pretty boring read though … with most of that information probably culled from vendor documentation. Still, it could set the framework on top of which governments more easily collaborate. Like in most situations this potential capability could be used for “good” but in the hands of more immoral individuals it could also be abused and used for “evil.”
Here are the relevant links for those interested in investigating further…

- Direct Download (17M zip file contained three PDF documents)
The zipped file contains three PDF documents, one that is 17M and two smaller ones of just a few 100K or so. Cyber War News noted that the 17M ones appears to be the complete final draft containing most of the important information. We downloaded the zip file into one of our analysis VMs and scanned all three PDFs using a local AV program as well as uploaded them to VirusTotal and all came back clean. Still YMMV…
