It’s that time of the week again: the time where we take a look at what local security bloggers have been up to. #3 -Are You an Experienced IT Pro & Looking to Get that First Infosec Job?: Tired of your IT job? Why not move into Infosec, and we have the tips on how to do just that here.

#2 -Geektools – Mac: We never get tired of tools and we are sure you feel the same way as well. For mac heads out there, we have this litle nice tool with a script that let’s you “see if someone it trying to log into your computer and what address they source from.” It also lists the active sessions on your machine. Check out Security Log Parse (aka Attack Tripwire) here and be sure to let us know what you think about the tool.

#1 -Hunting for VPNs … Shodan Style: Another great tool to have in your arsenal of tools. We are not going to even bother giving you details about this one as the title spills the beans on it, so instead click here to check out a great tool.
