The top 3 NoVA Infosec blog posts is back after an unofficial break for more than a month. With that said it’s that time of the week again: the time where we take a look at what local security bloggers have been up to. You can take a look at what local security bloggers have been up to but if you can’t get enough of the local security scene, check out our NovaInfosec Twits listfor even more great security blogs and people to follow on Twitter.

As always feel free to check out what local security bloggers have been up to and also be sure to follow myself (@nathiet), @grecs, and @novainfosec on Twitter if you want to know more about what’s going on in the local security community during the week. Without further ado … here are the top picks for this week.

First and for most, we would like to congratulate TaoSecurity Blog for winning most educational security blog. TaoSecurity Blog is run by @Richard Bejtlich and it is a very well deserved award, we  look forward to seeing what 2012 brings for the blog and without further ado, here are this weeks top 3 NoVA Infosec blog posts….

#3- RSA 2012 Thoughts: Now last week was the RSA 2012 conference and if you were not able to attend the event, we have you covered as Ben Tomhave offers his thoughts here and Bejtlich here. Check out both blog posts as we are sure that you will enjoy reading about the event.
