HacDC Meetup – Saturday, 06-20: OpenStreetMap Mapping Party

HacDC is known for their great meetups, and their OpenStreetMap Mapping Party this Saturday is no exception. Starting at 9am and going until 5pm, be ready to learn a whole lot of new information as the good folks at HacDC show those who attend how to use OpenStreetMap—a free and open map of the world that is editable like a wiki.

According to the HacDC website, this event is especially perfect for those who want to make a GPS toy (but need a base map) or for those who don’t like the terms and conditions of Google Maps.

To get additional information about this meetup, look no further than below.
